Much of the olden cultural is still present in some parts of the city, such as highly skilled traditional preforming arts known as the kamigata culture and preserved in shrines temples and thought festivals. Culture affecting Life
For many centuries Osaka has experienced the practice of apprenticeship, in which a young boy knows as a decchie went to live with a merchant family at the age of 10. There he did chores and learned about trade from clerks and bankers, and at about the age of 30 he became a clerk, got to manage a store. At 35 he was allowded to open a brank house of the buissness and the process of apprenticeship repeated on and on furthering the increase of merchants and bankers in Osaka.

Soccer and Sumo Wrestling are the two major recreational activities that are present in Osaka.
